Lydia’s Gathering is a project under the auspices of the Minnesota St. Joan Community, a 501.c.3 non-profit. Thus, donations to Lydia’s Gathering are tax deductible.
Lydia’s Gathering was named for Lydia, one of the first women leaders of a Christian house church (Acts 16:14).
Catholic women today are being validly ordained in apostolic succession stemming from a Roman Catholic bishop in good standing. More than 70 Catholic women priests and bishops are now ministering publicly in ten countries on four continents. They come from three different ethnic groups speaking at least five different languages. Women preparing for ordained ministries need our financial support.
